Andy Erickson, a former morning radio host in Sioux Falls, breathes into a microphone once again. Likely topics discussed are how great and irritating Sioux Falls can be, things that are amusing, stuff that is hypocritical, and probably some stuff about shooting and hunting and kids and family and friends.
Back in 2015, when Tasha and I were doing the old morning show, Patrick Sayegh contacted us about something we were talking about. He is a resident of Paris, France but had recently returned home from a two year stint in Brookings to help build a cheese factory. He listened to us a little bit on his brief commutes to work. When he got home he started listening to our whole show in his office. We have been online pen pals ever since. This podcast is the first day we had ever met him in person. It was a lot of fun!
Andy Hanson is a dad, a husband, an Army Guard Officer, and a garbage man. He is one of my favorite people to talk to because he never has nothing to talk about. He captures crazy stuff he finds on his garbage route on Snapchat, has a passion for shooting and hunting, and history. The best part of this episode was talking about the Battle of Slim Buttes in Harding County, South Dakota, not long after the Battle of Little Big Horn. We went long and had a fantastic time and a ton of laughs!
Jared Stepp is from the Salt Lake City area, he’s a cop, a shooter, an instructor (his company Waypoint Training), and a pretty funny dude.
